Debt can be a very scary thing to face, especially if you have suddenly found yourself unable to keep up with your regular payment schedule. If you are in need of money however, but are scared about taking out a loan, you should know that there are many people out there who have borrowed money wisely and had no problems repaying their debt.

If you are considering taking out a reverse mortgage on your home, you might be wondering how long it will put you in debt for. As a home owner, you are probably very familiar with traditional mortgages, and probably took one out to pay for your home. You are probably familiar with the fact that most traditional mortgages are offered in fifteen and thirty year terms. With a reverse mortgage, you are taking out a loan on the portion of the value of your home that you own and probably will not have to begin repaying the money that you borrowed until you move out of your home.

Therefore, you may remain in debt for quite a while depending on when you will be required to begin repaying your reverse mortgage. This time period in which you are in debt will also depend a great deal on how much you borrow in the first place. With this in mind, once you have gotten a reverse mortgage quote, it can be a good idea to spend some time thinking about exactly how much money you need to borrow. Although your reverse mortgage quote might be quite high, that does not mean that you need to borrow all of that money.

Before borrowing the money, it is a good idea to evaluate your financial history. Take some time to think about how much money you are making versus how much you are spending to evaluate your ability to repay the reverse mortgage. If you have a less than desirable history of repaying money or paying your bills, it might be time to question if you can handle the responsibility and pressure of taking on this new debt.

You can also talk to some other people that you know that have had problems with debt to see what got them into that situation and what they had to do to get out of their financial whole. Talking with others is one of the best ways to learn what not to do, as well as to make you think a little harder about whether or not you really need to borrow money.

Your personal circumstances are a large determiner of how long you will be in debt after taking out this reverse type of mortgage. Only you know if taking out this type of mortgage would be a wise choice. To determine is this is the best choice for you, there are many things that you can do such as taking a look at your financial history, figuring out how much money you need to borrow, and learning what your repayment schedule would look like.

THIS part is pretty easy too, even if you’ve never done any niche research in your life. Here’s all you need to do… Let’s say you went with a program on Commission Junction that was in the telecommunications field, a pay per lead program that pays $15 per lead.
To earn the $15, our visitors are required to sign up for a free trial of a phone service that allows them to listen to their voicemail without calling their phone or being home. This offer is great because the service is unique, and visitors aren’t required to buy anything for us to make money.

This is why PPL like I said programs are great. Your visitors are not required to buy anything for you to get paid, meaning you’ll earn commissions a lot more often. First, we’ll want to use Google’s Keyword Tool to generate a bunch of keywords for us.

For instance, let’s enter “voicemail” into the keyword tool and see what we get. You’ll want to scroll down to near the bottom of that list and find keywords that still have some green in the “search volume” column and look for related voicemail keywords, such as these…

The circled green portion of the results that has green in it shows that these keywords are good to use. But do not forget, depending on your region, Google may have “exact” search term numbers now. If that’s the case, then any search term that doesn’t have the phrase “insufficient data” is a typically good keyword to target, as long as it isn’t too broad. As we look through the list, we find only a few relevant keywords. Maybe you will see these keyword:

internet voice mail
check voicemail online
online voice mail
voicemail wav
etc

All the rest are unrelated to the product we’re trying to generate leads to. Now what’s next? Use common sense here. If someone is searching for “ForPublisher’s Voicemail” they’re probably not looking for an internet voicemail service, so it’s not a good keyword to target!

Once we have those initial few keywords, we’ll now go back up to the top and search each of those keywords to generate more longtail results. From the “Internet Voice Mail” keyword alone we generate well over 20 keywords that we can use, all that have a fair amount of searches every month as represented by small amount of green they have in the bar.

From the “internet voicemail” keyword alone, maybe you can produce 20 long tail keywords that we’re more than capable of writing about. If you read the list, you’ll see that sometimes the keywords are remarkably similar…for example, there’s “voicemail over the internet” and “voice mail over the internet.”

Don’t worry about this. They count as separate keywords and it doesn’t really matter that they’re similar. What about competition? Do not worry too much about it. Just use common sense.

A keyword like “voicemail” is going to have a ton of search results, whereas the long tail keyword “voice mail over the internet” isn’t going to have as many. That’s why you have to search for long tail keywords.

We only have an hour per day to work with here, so we have to work quickly. Wasting time worrying about competition instead of taking action isn’t necessary. We need to take action, instead. Do you agree?

Don’t dwell too much on the keywords. Use common sense to figure out which keywords will work the best. Now, let’s create your landing page which will push your Commission Junction product or service.

NOW we prepare how to setup Squidoo Lens. In another attempt to get some search engine ranking. Setting up Squidoo lens will add another backlink to our blog as well as our articles, to hopefully boost their ranking as well. We’ll talk about how to do this shortly.
Set Up Your Squidoo Lens

Setting up a Squidoo lens for your long tail keywords is the next part of this plan. Squidoo not only provides linkbacks to your articles, but it gives an additional chance to be ranked highly in the search engines for your long tail keyword.

Setting up a Squidoo lens is not difficult. It might take a little longer than 20 minutes the first time you do it, but here is what is basically going to happen.

1.) You’re going to register your Squidoo lens with your longtail keyword.
2.) You’re going to take your re-written article and put it into your lens.
3.) You’re going to linkback to your EzineArticles and your blog.
4.) You’re going to publish your lens.

That’s it. It’s not hard, so let’s first get you setup with Squidoo. First things first, we will need to register (unless you already have an account, which will speed things up even more. Go to the registration page and fill in all of your personal information.

After you confirm your e-mail address, go ahead and create a lens. When it asks what your lens is about, enter your long tail keyword. So, if your long tail keyword is “Voice mail over the internet,” enter it exactly: Next, choose “I want to do my own thing.” After that, you’ll be able to formally make the name of your lens. Try to make it the keyword with dashes, exactly, as you see here…

Also pick the category that is most relevant for the long tail keyword. For “Internet Voicemail,” our topic is “Computers, Gadgets and Tech.”

What if the keyword you want isn’t available? That’s easy…try different variations of it. For example: voicemailovertheinternet to be voice_mail_over_the_internet

If you’re really unlucky and neither of those are available, then we’ll have to go for a variation of the long tail keyword. Tack on a word to the front or end of the long tail keyword.

There’s probably over 1000 different variations you could choose from. Now that we have the lens title nailed down, let’s move on to the next page… The next step asks you to select keywords that are relevant to your lens.

Our primary keyword is the long tail keyword, and the other 3 keywords are general keywords based around your topic. If you really can’t think of any, go back to the Google Keyword Tool and choose keywords that are higher on the list when you search for your primary keyword. Now that we’ve got all that covered…It’s time to actually create the lens. First, edit the introduction. For the “Lens Intro Title,” just use the long tail keyword again.

For the description, just write up a very quick three sentence blurb explaining internet voicemail and using the long tail keyword once. For example… “Welcome to this lens! Voice Mail Over The Internet is a new phenomenon – the ability to check your voice mail from anywhere has a lot of people talking. I’ve done some research about internet voicemail and I’d love to share my results with you. Keep reading…”

That would work just fine. Nothing elaborate. You can write up something like that in 2 minutes. Next, we’re going to add another module by clicking the “add modules” button at the bottom. Go ahead and click it… Now, choose the “Text/Write Module.” Now, add the “Links List” by clicking the “add unique content” tab at the top.

Then, click the “add modules” button. Now, you should see a screen like this…

Now, let’s click on the edit button on the Text/Write Module. The title should be the long tail keyword (yes, again) and the subtitle should be the actual title you chose for the rewritten article you created. Paste the body of the rewritten article into the box, and then click “save.”

Easy enough, right? This is tips for you. If you want to take a minutes to make your lens more visually appealing? Search google for free image sites and upload them to your Squidoo lens! Now we’re going to add some links to your lens under the link list module. The first link should be to your blog. The title should be your broad keyword. You don’t need to enter a description or subtitle.

Add three or more links. What you’re going to do is link to a random three of your EzineArticles articles. If they aren’t yet published, write yourself a note to go back and edit your lens when they are published.

So, if your EzineArticles article title was “the truth about voice mail over the internet,” the link title should be “voice mail over the internet.” What you’ll want to do here is keep track of how much you link to each article. You don’t want all of your lens pointing to the same 3 articles…remember, when you complete this entire process you’ll have at least 20 squidoo lens active.

Mix it up and make it so each one of your articles has at least a couple backlinks from your various Squidoo lenses. Hopefully this makes sense!

OK, once you’ve added the links and the article to your Squidoo lens…it’s time to publish it! Make sure it’s active by going to the proper URL. It will look like this…

http://www.squidoo.com/your_primary_keyword_here

Go through and make sure that all the links are active and work properly. If it’s active, great! What we need to do next is quickly edit your “My Bio” box on the right side of the lens. Write up something quick and set it as your default bio. “I’m so-and-so, I’m an expert on internet voicemail! Visit my blog here!” or something silly like that will work just fine –you can link to your blog in your bio in the same manner you linked to it in the text module, using the “a href” HTML tags. We’re all set for the next part…
